Another year has passed by, and nothing much has changed in the general world that has not been said by better people (or worse people, if you want to listen to such tripe).  I don't bother watching television as much as everyone else - so I'm spared most of the idiocy that rages forth.  Either you are with those that would like the see the world burn, or your with those that want to just bitch.  Yes, yes, there are those of us that think for ourselves and have hope and joy in our hearts from time to time - but even though we are the majority, we are silent so the little minority racist, idiotic, and 'beasts' rule the world of entertainment w

I had this odd dream last night, like a majority of my dreams - I died in it.  So nothing out of the ordinary in that department.  But the interesting bit was the environment in the dream.  A majority of it was within, for lack of a better description, the belly of a complicated gear driven clock.  From the inside it seemed to be one of those "pocket watches" that you see in those period pieces - old gents taking their watches out of their coat pockets while they discuss the events of the day.  But you have to picture this watch/clock as a huge temple of sorts, the face of the watch was the ceiling with the light filtering through the opaque
